28-year-old man shot on South Side of Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. — A 28-year-old man was shot on Syracuse’s South Side early Wednesday, police said.
Around 1:54 a.m. police responded to 210 Lincoln Ave. for a shooting call, police said. The initial call was for a disturbance, according to dispatches from the Onondaga County 911 Center.
When officers arrived they found the man who had been shot in the hand, police said. The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
